Stage inspections and new builds in Whittlesea VIC
For a new build the approved drawings and engineering details must be followed. The structure is measured against the NCC and the Guide to Standards and Tolerances. A standard AS 4349.1 inspection is not used. We look for compliance with the Building Act 1993 and the Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995. We check that the final stage meets the requirements for a PCI. A registered building surveyor issues the occupancy permit.
